The Compagnie Industrielle Maritime was. Created in 1920 to finance and manage facilities for the reception, storage and transfer of oil products at Le Havre.
C.I.M. operates Oil Terminals of le Havre and Antifer, offering a total capacity of 3.500,000 cbm for crude oil and 1.500,000 cbm for refined products. Operations Handling is based on the “Concession Treaty“ which binds the “Port of le Havre Authorities“ with C.I.M. Throughout its history, C.I.M. has always adapted its facilities to major changes such as the tenfold rise of import products since World War II or the increasing size of vessels. Today, C.I.M. S.N.C. is an approved independent storage operator and wholly-owned subsidiary of the "Macquarie" Group. C.I.M. S.N.C. is entitled to act as a "certified agreed bonder". Its facilities are connected by pipelines to the TOTAL, EXXONMOBIL and PETROPLUS refineries for the supply of oil products. |
They are also connected to the Paris area via the TRAPIL pipeline network and to Europe via the NATO pipelines. C.I.M. S.N.C. has also developed its inland logistics through the distribution depots located around Paris, in “Val de Loire“ and the Atlantic facade.
